When to visit us
Entry to ISTC is restricted to students and staff. However, Open Days are held throughout the year when the Centre is open to visits by interested individuals and groups. The Centre organises guided tours to the labs and workshops and there is interaction with the faculty members. Open Days are held every year on:
- February 28: National Science Day
- May 11: National Technology Day
- September 26: CSIR Foundation Day
- October 30: CSIO Foundation Day

ISTC is located in the heart of Chandigarh, in Sector 30 and is within 5 kms of the Chandigarh Railway Station and 15 kms of Chandigarh Airport. Approach the Centre from the Dakshin Marg entrance.
